Dumbledore's Army Sign In Sheet
I found a picture of the list to use as a reference. I found each student's signature, then recreated it. I printed it out on antique-looking paper that I found at OfficeMax. I ended up using this paper for almost everything. I much more prefered it over "antiquing" paper with coffee or tea. I had everyone sign it when they arrived. After the party I scanned the sheet in and emailed it to everyone.
Ministry of Magic Files and Mudblood Booklet
I printed off the Mudblood booklet (found online) on letter size paper. I found a small booklet that had come in the mail and used that as the "inside" of the book.
I found the Muggle-Born Registrations papers for Remin Lupus and Arthur Weasley online and printed them off on legal size paper. I stapled them to file folders and printed off labels.
Cat Plates
Since I'm a muggle, I'm unable to conjure magical moving plates, so I had to settle for the internet. The hardest part was finding pictures of cat plates that weren't blurry. After hours of internet sloughing, printing and cutting it was time to move on to the next step.
I purchased white paper plates and spray painted them pink and gold. The pink isn't Umbridge perfect pink, but I had it leftover from a baby shower and didn't want to go and buy MORE pink spray paint. Once they were dried, I used glue sticks to attach the photos.
I wanted to attach the plates to ribbon, but I didn't want to use hot glue. I was hoping to find a solution so that the plates could be stored apart from the ribbon to save space. To my surprise, what worked best was stick on fabric velcro.
